Currently Reading: Overcoming the Five Dysfunctions of a Team
A good friend of mine mentioned he had read this book because a mutual friend of ours had recommended it to him. He described some of the big points in the book, and said that he had really enjoyed it, so I thought I’d read it too.
It can be really hard to find the non-fiction gems. You’ll rarely see them get the media-hype their fiction counterparts are used to.
Before you go relying on nothing but Amazon.com reviews and the alike, first ask two or three people you know/admire who may have done some reading in the same topic you’re wanting to learn about. It’s a simple idea, but you might be surprised just how many gems you end up finding.
The best books I’ve ever read were recommendations from friends and others I admire (no, not Oprah).
I’ll let you know what I thought of this one soon!
